Year: Clutch: Morph: Sort:
  • ID: 2012 Clutch #1
  • Date Layed: Mar 27th, 2012
  • Sire: Firefly
  • Dame: Normal
  • Eggs Layed: 6 Eggs
  • Date Hatched: May 23rd, 2012
Preview: First clutch of 2012 and it comes one day earlier than my first clutch of 2011 (2011 Clutch 01 was laid on 3/29/11). This should produce Pastels, Fires, Fireflys and Normals. Even though I've hatched more fireflys than most anyone out there, they are still one of my favorite simple combos.
Hatched: 1.0 Firefly, 1.0 Fire, 0.2 Pastels, 0.2 Normals
Preview: If this female proves to be Het Lavender, this will produce Lavenders. Otherwise the offspring will all be 100% Het Lavender Albinos.

Hatched: 1.3 Lavender Albino (1 egg went bad during incubation)

WOW! I would have been happy with a singe Lavender in this clutch. These are extra ORANGE as well. Just beautiful. Great start to the season and hopefully I didn't just use up all of my luck on this clutch...
Preview: This should produce Bumblebellys and all its ingredients. (Pastel, Spider, Yellowbelly, Pastel YB, Spider YB, and Bumblebee)

Hatched: 1.0 Spider YB, 0.1 Pastel YB, 3.1 YB, 0.1 Pastel, 0.1 Normal

No Bumblebees or Bumblebellys in this clutch.
Preview: This female was bred 1x by a Lesser male, then 1x by a Pewter Butter (pictured). We'll see who sires the clutch!
Hatched: 0.1 Butter Blk Pewter, 1.1 Pastel Butter, 1.0 Blk Pastel, 0.2 Pastel, 1.0 Normal
Preview: This clutch could be sired by the Firefly or Pewter Butter (pictured).
Hatched: 0.1 Butter Blk Pewter, 1.1 Blk Past Butters, 2.2 Pewters, 0.1 Normal
Preview: This could either produced Lavenders & Hets or just Hets if the female does not prove...
Hatched: 3.1 Het Lavender Albino (female pictured)
Preview: Very excited to continue this project. In 2010 I hatched some female Mahogany Het Pieds, this year I'm hoping to add to those as well as finally get a male.

Hatched: 7.0 Het Piebalds

Just in case you think that I always have good luck on my odds... there is this doozy of a clutch. No Mahoganys and all boys... Ouch.
Preview: This could be sired by either the Pastel YB, Bumblebelly (pictured), or both!

Hatched: 0.1 Bumblebee, 0.2 Pastel, 2.0 Yellowbelly, 2.1 Normals

Looks like at least the Bumblebee was sired by the Bumblebelly, but the rest of the clutch could easily have been from the Pastel YB.... I'm guessing split sire clutch.
Preview: Ahhh too bad this clutch is 1/2 slugs...

Hatched: 0.1 Bumblebelly, 0.1 Bumblebee, 0.1 Bumblebee/Pastel

Great result out of only 3 eggs! The Bumblebelly is in the top right corner of the pics. The bottom snake is kind of a head-scratcher... It looks 1/2 Bumblebee and 1/2 Pastel, pretty cool I think!
Preview: More slugs! :(

Hatched: 0.1 Pastel (1 egg went bad during incubation)

Nice little pastel female, guess we will never know which male sired the clutch...
Preview: Nice BIG clutch from this first time breeder female.

Hatched: 0.1 Bumblebelly, 2.0 Bumblebees, 0.1 Pastel YB, 0.1 YB Spider, 0.2 Spider, 2.1 YBs, 0.1 Normal

Quite the variety! This little bumblebelly female is just classic. Its the subtle vibrance the Yellowbelly adds to the Bumblebee what really makes me love that combo.
Preview: This should produce Pastel Yellowbellys, Pastels, Yellowbellys and Normals.
Hatched: 1.1 Pastel YBs, 0.2 Yellowbellys
Preview: Very happy with this clutch! Could make Super Pastel Butter Pewters, aka Butter Sterlings.

Hatched: 1.1 Butter Blk Pewter, 0.1 Super Pastel Butter, 0.1 Blk Pastel Butter, 0.1 Pastel Butter

Well I didn't get my "Butter Sterling" but I'm super happy with the variety in this clutch. Honestly my favorite is the Super Pastel Butter.
Preview: Hoping to finally get my Bumblebee Ivory! This could also make Pastel, Spider and regular Ivories...

Hatched: 1.0 Pastel Ivory, 0.1 Ivory, 1.0 Pastel YB, 2.0 YBs, 0.2 Normals (1 egg went bad during incubation)

Well looks like the Pastel YB male sired this clutch. This Pastel Ivory is amazing!
Preview: This will make Albinos and Het Albinos

Hatched: 1.1 Albinos, 1.2 Het Albinos

These are great patterned Albinos, really loving them.
